It's Your Time to Step Out

We are so grateful and proud of the team that went to Newburgh, NY on our most recent missions trip. We really hope you enjoyed this interview and but more than that, caught a glimpse into what it is like to serve on a missions trip. Here are a few principles and realizations we grabbed from yesterday's gathering:

  1. Trips like these broaden our perspective and remind us to be GRATEFUL for the "simple" things that we so easily have access to. Groceries, food, clean clothes, a home to rest, etc. Today, approach the "simple" things that you have with a heart of gratitude.

  2. God's word says "whatever you do to the least of these, you have done unto me." It's important that we live humble lives with a laser focus. And that focus is to share Jesus with everyone we come in contact with. Don't be afraid to go to those who are different from you. Today, see everyone as a child that God created, because he did. Pray that God deepens your compassion.

  3. God prepares us to meet people where they are. If we are looking, God is always guiding us to certain people for a reason. Even in the most basic day to day moments. Today, look for the God opportunities in the mundane. Who is God leading you to? How can you share God's love with them?

  4. Don't compare yourself to anyone else. God created each of us specifically to be used by him. And yes, your gifts, personality, demeanor, hobbies. Today, realize that God equips you and has good plans for you.

  5. Stepping over the line of your comfort zone will be... yes, uncomfortable. But trust God, because he is leading you. On the other side of your obedience, is God working through you to let the light of Jesus shine. Today, we declare boldness over you and a heart to obey God.

It's your time to step out. To uncover more, we encourage you to take a listen to this message:
